South Londoner Matt Maltese unveils a hypothetical love story of impending doom with his new track 'As The World Caves In'. Drawing on a sense of hopelessness and ignorance within current Western politics, this unusually moving ballad imagines Donald Trump and Theresa May spending one last special night together before the apocalypse. The subject is somewhat tongue-in-cheek. However, the music is seriously good. It's not difficult to see where Maltese's self-confessed love for Leonard Cohen comes into play in this political romance.
